How Long Do Wasps Live?

There is a wasp that has taken up "residence" in the window next to my desk. Yesterday I closed the blinds and shut him in, but today I am just trying to ignore him. I figure if I don't bother him, he won't bother me. I think he's just trying to get outside. I have no way to help him; the windows are storm windows and old. I wish he would die or go to some other window...like in the kitchen....

now he's playing in my plant...

Oh my gosh, Sarah - KILL THE WASP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Either that or get him in some sort of jar and take him outside and set him free! Do not take to keeping insects as pets at the office. That cannot ever turn into a good thing. :)

I do not want to go anywhere near said wasp. I had a bad experience as a child.

Do you want me to come and grab the wasp by the wings and remove him from the premises? Cause I am that quick. I am quick like a cat.

I have found two things about wasps.

1. If you spray anything, Raid, Febreeze, WD-40, or Windex, it will almost always kill a wasp.

2. If you don't spray enough Febreeze on a wasp, it will sting you. So you need to get a little bit of chewing tobacco and dip it in a little bit of cold water. Then apply said cold water soaked chewing tobacco onto the sting and it will make it feel better.

P.S. do you know how I can get a free Ipod?

I named the wasp Katrina, sprayed her with sprayed air at close range [freezing her], and then dousing her with office furniture cleaner. oh yes...

Careful! - the wasp could actually be a scientist who was involved in a freak accident at the lab and barely escaped and now is (dum, dum,DUMMM) - THE WASP!
