What are these urges to conquer parts of Europe? Just remember that most of the people that have historically tried to conquer Europe wore funny hats. Do you have a funny hat so that you can be a dictator???
hmm.... I am afraid the only hats I have are ballcaps and a cow[girl] hat....oh, and a few 'ski hats'... I don't think any of those would qualify....:P
I guess I will have to be satisfied with the knowledge that I did conquer Europe in a game of RISK several years ago, much to the chargrin of the 4 blood thirsty "gentlemen" with whom I played the game. Oh yeah, I kicked their behinds!! whahahaa!
Though I am a nerd, actually more of a moron, I don't believe I ever played that game. I was always partial to "Don't Break The Ice," the greatest game ever.
Don't break the ice... totally my favorite. I also play Risk, it is the best game to play when you have a long rainy day ahead of you and nothing to do. But, I admit with no shame... I am a geek. Notice how I said PLAY, not played.......
LIFE is a fun game. My family didn't own it, so I didn't get to play it much.
Risk is also good on snow days. That is when I was introduced to the game.....we played for over 10 hours, left the game around 4 in the morning to go get some sleep, resumed [the same game] at 2pm the next day, and played for another 12 hours. And I am not exaggerating. I may be understated the amount of time played, actually. Of course, we weren't playing the game quite right, and that is why it took so long....hmmm....
Terra, you just went up in my cool book. [note to self: make a cool book and add Terra...]

"Don't Break the Ice"....uh, isn't that a Kiddie game?? Like "Chutes and Ladders" kiddie???
Now, I remember "Cootie"....that was a fun game.
LIFE was my game of choice as a kid. I liked the idea of having control over...anything.
