What Dreams May Come
I am really not enjoying my dreams of late.
For the past....oh....I guess week and a half, I have been having not fun, weird, wacky dreams. Its not that anything bad specifically happens, per se. Its more like there are all these weird images and 'scenes' that don't flow and make no sense and cause me to wake up feeling....off....and confused, and fuzzy headed, and just plain agitated. And I don't feel rested as a result. :P And certain 'scenes' stay with me the rest of the day, which drives me nuts becuase I am not able to figure them out or forget them.
My dreams in general usually are a little on the crazy side, but the ones lately have a whole new feel to them that I just don't like. They are a different kind of crazy, but in what way I really don't know how to describe.
I am almost to the point of sort of dreading going to sleep at night. I have prayed and recited scripture that applied before going to sleep, but still the craziness continues. I think maybe a bit of it has to do with the work stress I have been under. So hopefully my sleep will get better when it eases up....if it eases up, haha. :)
In a complete tangent, using "What Dreams May Come" as my post title reminded me of having to memorize the "To be or not to be" soliloquy from Hamlet my Junior year in high school. I wonder how much I remember...
To be or not to be, that is the question
whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortunes
Or to.....something....and then something about being against a sea of something....
Then some more stuff I can't remember....
To die, to sleep
To sleep. Perchance to dream!
Yet in that endless sleep what dreams may come
when we have something off this mortal something
And then a WHOLE lot of somethings.....haha
Ok, so I don't remember much at all.... :P haha
5 Sagacious Sayings:
Well, I'm impressed you remembered any of it. I don't remember many things from High School. And, unfortunately, college is starting to become a bit of a blur...
Yeah, I think much of what I learned in college is fading into forgetfulness. I don't think I could recall much pertaining to my degree, which is sad.
You remembered more than I would have! Way to go!
I have phases of weird dreams too. They usually last for a couple of weeks, then go away for a while. Glad to know I'm not the only one - thanks for suffering with me! :P
Good Grief! I have a freakin' degree in this field...and I can't remember a single "cotton pickin'" line from ANY play or musical I was ever in!!!!
I can remember one [of mine]....
"ahahahh ahahaaaaa hahahahaaa [snort"

"BANG, BANG!!" ;) heehee! remember that?
