Cell Phones Are NOT Chew Toys!!
I was lying [is it laying or lying??] in bed last night, trying to fall asleep, [which took quite some time for some reason….had a restless night :P] when I hear the dog [not MY dog, but THE dog] chewing on something. I think nothing of it, b/c he often brings his bone with him to bed and will do a little chewing before going to sleep. But then it hits me that a) I didn’t remember seeing his bone, and b) he is up near me [instead of at the foot of the bed] and in the general vicinity of where I keep my phone at night[I use it as an alarm clock….]. Lo and behold, the STINKING DOG WAS CHEWING ON MY CELL PHONE!!! OK, so not my cell phone, exactly, but the belt clip case thing that I keep it in. But my cell phone was in the belt clip case thing, so it’s basically the same thing! Well, at this point I am not a happy camper. I quickly remove the contraband object from his mouth [he growls], and begin scolding him profusely [he growls some more]. I flip on my light and check out the damages [nothing but disgusting dog slobber......but still—GROSS!], and look at him and makes sure he knows he is in trouble by scolding him some more. He puts his head down [still growling] and slowly makes his way over to me until he is right in my face, growling and generally showing signs of displeasure. He has such a moody personality. Moody, moody, moody! He always does that when he is in trouble. He gets real close in repentant fashion, yet growls the whole time to let you know he is not happy about it…..sigh, he is a mess. I was half tempted to punish him further by making him sleep in his crate for the night, but that would have required me to get up out of bed, and I was pretty comfortable where I was. :P So….I banished him to the foot of the bed [he didn’t stay], wiped off the dog slobber and made a mental note to thoroughly disinfect it the next morning. Ah, the excitement…

Ah, the joys of dog ownership....mine yakked in the living room floor last night. Be glad all you got was a little slobber! :P
ewwww....yeah, I've dealt with that before...Lambeau did that UNDER MY BED once. It ruined some of my Monet prints I had stored under there. It bothers me b/c he is not my dog....he's a....little brother....or something.... :P
