Ringing Trumpet Hikes to Work (hehehe)
I need to change my alarm ring. I use my phone as an alarm clock in the mornings, so lately I have been abruptly awoken each morning to the sound of: "Trogdor!!! Trogdor!!! Trogdor was a man. I mean....he was a dragon man......" Yeah.... It scares me half to death every time, and my dog jumps as well, so I think it must scare him as well. I need to put my old alarm ring back on there, which was much less abrupt, and a lot more appropriate. It was: Sleep, no I never get enough; always waking up tired. Sleep, no I never get enough. If I don't get up I might get fired..." Yes, I think that would be a lot better.
So, anyway, ITS FRIDAY!!! Can I get a trumpet fanfare, here??!!
Tomorrow, weather permitting, I will be trekking to the Buffalo River Valley to hike about in the Lost Valley area, an old favorite place of mine. Two summers ago, God and I spent quite a few wonderful weekends there hiking and sitting and studying the Word (FYI, concordances get VERY heavy in a backpack after a while). I missed last year due to a busy summer (hmmm....busy doing what?? I can't remember....), but I have decided that I need to get away and do this--its time to go be still with God. Ooo! And this time I will have my nifty camera, so I can (hopefully) snap some sweet scenes! YES! That's what I'm talking about... :)
But FIRST, I must get through my work day. :) Today I have to go down to the church's small group office (dun, dun, duh!!!) and put out the information for our Summer Ministries. Gruelling "hard labor" for office work.... ;)

Ok, now I have to be honest and admit something....I had the ring tones for "trogdor" and "everybody" before I had ANY idea about the existence of Homestar Runner. I had to borrow a phone while waiting for my replacement phone (during the recent technology crisis), and the "borrowed" phone belonged to a former employee who I guess was a fan. So I just took those songs for myself! :) I had to ask a friend what the songs were, and have not been able to explore very much on the site--but I have to say, what I have seen is stinkin' funny!
As for HTML....yes and no...On my main posts, yes (b/c this site makes it easy!), but its here in the comments that I have no idea what I am doing. Every attempt so far at figuring it out myself have...failed...[sigh] I am not a computer genious. There. I said it. :)
Wow, "Ro" sure has a made a lot of comments on your blog. Hmmm...wonder who this mystery man is.

I am hoping that the weather will cooperate for my great outdoors day. On the NOAA site it said 90% chance rain, but on the Weather Channel site it said it was going to be nice. I'm rooting for TWC's prediction. I did see your pictures. They are quite good. :) I am a fan of waterfall pictures.
I discovered the email option and have it going to my work email. I find it to be quite the time saver...

Now my two cents! I could spend a lot of time telling you from a guys perspective and one who has impeccable taste in women how cute she is.. We could talk about smiles and green eyes. I could tell you about her new hair do, how tall she is and a host of other awesome stuff!! I could tell you how when she is happy she lights up the world around her. But you know as supper cute as she is what really is amazing about her is WHO she is and you would not believe me even if I told you about that..
G4G, why would my mom read this? She is not....how to say....techy sauvy...in the area of blogs. I think she thinks they are silly. But I love her and she is the greatest, so we will agree to disagree.
Alright, my big brother whom I never wanted (back at you-HA!)...um....uh....thank you...for the...uh...compliments? I would try and tell you that pedestals are precarious things, but you would probably retort with something along the lines of that know me at my worst and definitely are not doing that! HA! :) So, anyway, seriously, thanks big guy....yeah.
