Count Your Blessings

In order to adjust my outlook on life (and get out of "life is poopy" mode), I have decided to list (in absolutely no particular order) a just a FEW of the awesome ways that God has COMPLETELY blessed my life..... :) LIFE IS GOOD!

I am blessed because......

1. Jesus Christ has saved me
2. God will never leave me
3. I have been adopted into God's family, and since He is King, that makes ME a Princess
4. my wonderful parents
5. my close relationship with my parents
6. I've traveled to 6 countries in 4 years
7. my 3 sisterchick friends who mean the world to me: Shelli, Sarah, and Nichole
8. many other wonderful friends who encourage me and inspire me and love me
9. I have a college degree
10. I have a great job where I get to serve God each and every day in ministry
11. I have the most comfortable bed in the world
12. money to go out to eat often
13. I am debt free
14. I am able to walk, see, hear, run, and SMILE!
15. I have reasons to smile in life
16. I have a bay window in my office
17. I can sing!
18. I am involved in a GREAT church who has a heart for missions
19. I serve under a wonderful God fearing, Bible teaching Senior Pastor
20. I live in a house in the country
21. I have my own car that runs
22. I am healthy
23. I have running water
24. My house has central heat and air
25. I have been chosen by God to do His purpose.
26. God has placed a call on my life to serve Him in ministry
27. God loves me
28. My friends and family love me
29. I live in a country where I have the freedom to worship God openly without major persecution
30. I am alive

These are just the first 30 things I could think of. God is so good to me. I am a sinner saved by grace, and EVERYTHING I have is because of Him. My life is in His hands.

It really felt good to list a few of my blessings. I know some of them may seem so frivolous, and probably are, but there are many things on this list that many in the world do not have. That does not make me better than them. I could easily do without many of those things, and still have a totally blessed life. But they are a part of my life, so I am going to list them and thank the LORD for bestowing them on me. It is the favor of God. :)
